I have been a long time professional practitioner of the predictive art of Vedic astrology. Having studied with some of the most eminent astrologers including Chakrapani Ullal, Ernst Wilhelm, and James Kelleher, among others, I continue to deepen my understanding of this sacred and ancient art with continuing education and research. I believe that astrology is a subject of timeless studies over many lifetimes and should be approached with humility and grace. I also hold a certificate in Ayurvedic counseling and have been teaching Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) for a number of years, both privately and within educational institutions. Some of my other passions in life are arts and music and they have led me to many years of work in these fields as concert presenter, event curator, radio host, and journalist. My belief system is deeply ingrained in Vedic philosophy. I follow the teachings of my spiritual teacher Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami and his successor Satguru Bodhinathaswami. I advocate for human and animal rights with a view towards peaceful cultural, racial, religious co-existence and environmental sustainability. I believe the world is a beautiful place and the precious time we have in this lifespan is given to us as a gift to evolve in spirit. Astrology is a marvelous tool to guide us on this path and to help us navigate the many rivers of life.
